~ Dominican 2008 ~

So, you think a vacation was needed? The night before our trip.

Just a brief recap of our trip to the Dominican in January. We were lucky enough to go before Baby Fox #2 arrives. We left our little munchkin home with Nana, Papa, and Nona again this time. Nathan's sister, Julia also came with us. We had a great time, met new friends, survived the monsoon, and almost married Julia off for 10 cows, 2 chickens and a brick wall!

Congratulations to my sister Sheri, her husband Francois and my nephew Eric! On the birth of their newest family member, Addison. She arrived via scheduled C-section this past Thursday, February 7th at 11:51 hours. Addison weighed 7lbs 1oz and was 20 3/4" long.

We are so happy for you and your family and can't wait to meet our newest cousin. Love and Kisses to all, Michelle, Nathan, Lennah and Baby Fox #2.

P.S. OMG, I guess that means I'm next!!!

~ The Sisters Pregnant ~

Here are a few pictures of my sister and I pregnant with our Number 2's. Sheri was due February 18th and I'm due June 1st.

This one was taken on Sheri's birthday, December 8th. I look further along than her in this photo!

So, I had to include this not-so flattering shot of me, as Sheri's belly can clearly be seen in this one! I was 15 weeks along and Sheri about 29 weeks.

And this is us just after our trip to the Dominican on January 28th. She was less than 2 weeks from delivery and me, 22 weeks.

~ Baby Fox #2 ~

Here is our official announcement.

Nathan and I are expecting Baby Fox #2. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and my due date is June 1, 2008!

The ultrasound photos are almost 4 weeks old now.

It happened pretty quickly - the first time trying! We always knew we would start trying when Lennah was a year old, and I was hoping for some good news by Christmas time. Well, we had good news by September. I never expected it to happen so fast, what with the big move to Takla, Lennah's first birthday and my car accident. But, maybe that's why it happened when it did - we certainly weren't stressing about getting pregnant.

Nathan is convinced that this one is a boy - the power of positive thinking! I started showing quite a bit sooner this time around and am bigger than I was with Lennah at the same week. We haven't found out the sex and we don't want to. One of life's greatest surprises. Surprisingly, I agree with Nathan this time and am quite content to wait until this little one graces our lives to found out who he or she is.
