~ Gardening with Grandma ~

Lennah and I spent this past weekend at my Mom's house. We stayed in all day Saturday and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Lennah had a great time helping Grandma Nelson garden. She was so happy to just fill up container after container with dirt - and rearrange the lawn ornaments!

~ Bubbles ~

Last Friday, Lennah and Jordan had another playdate at Sean and Rachel's. The two had a fantastic time. I then immediately went out and got Lennah her own "Gazillion Bubbles" bubblemaker afterwards.

~ Playtime ~

Last Thursday, Lennah, Jordan and Dylan (he slept through these photos!) went to the playground across the street from our old complex. It was the first time Lennah went on the swing by herself and enjoyed it! It only took Jordan, who's 1 year old to show her how it's done.

~ Eric's 3rd Birthday ~

My lovely new feet, complete with daisies.

Lennah, learning from a pro.

First time cuddling with Uncle Francois.

Enthralled with the Berenstain Bears before bedtime.

Le piece de resistance!

Relaxing on the swing after the partygoers went home.

We celebrated Eric's 3rd Birthday on Sunday of the May long weekend. His actual birthday is May 16th. It was all things Fireman, complete with a water hose. As usual, Lennah had a fantastic time with her favourite cousins, aunt and uncle. I even got a treat this weekend with a pedicure. I said if I lasted past Mother's Day I would treat myself!

~ Lennah and Nona ~

These pictures were taken just last Friday at the beginning of our "weekend heat wave". Lennah had so much fun just being outside in the yard with her new trike and her Nona.

~ The Red Rocket ~

Lennah got an early 2nd Birthday gift from her Grandma Nelson this month. A Red Rocket trike! We felt she should get it early as the season is so short in Takla and by September would likely not have much use for it - it snows early there remember.

~ Mother's Day Lunch ~

Me, Lennah, Grandma and Addison

Happy Birthday to You! 3 Ice Creams for the 3 year old.

Only Eric's 2nd ice cream cone ever.

On Monday the 12th, my sister Sheri, my Mom and best friend Deanna celebrated a belated Mother's Day at Montana's. We also celebrated an early birthday for cousin Eric. He turns 3 on the 16th.

~ Takla Postcard ~

A little blast from the past Nathan found today. I know it's not politically correct, but it's probably from the '70s, and well, you know ... It's a postcard for Takla Landing.

It reads "ORIGINAL CARRIER INDIAN HANDICRAFTS
These Indian Tanned Moosehide
- Mitts
- Gloves
- Mukluks
- Slippers
- After-ski Boots, Etc
Are Entirely Handmade by Indians
at Takla Landing, BC
Enquiries Invited"

I Googled the publisher, but was unable to find any information on just how old the postcard may be. But it's certainly interesting anyways.

~ The Countdown Is On ~

Well, we're getting closer everyday. 36 weeks on Monday, and Nathan, Lennah and I are headed back down to the coast for the last trip before Baby Fox #2 arrives. Nathan is headed to Tofino for a boat course and I'm headed to Surrey to wait for this little one to make it's grand entrance!
So far, so good, I've had another easy pregnancy. A little more tired, perhaps. But this time I'm also chasing a toddler around. And, it looks like this one isn't breech - yayyy! Or, should I say OMG! I've never even had a contraction before as we knew Lennah was breech weeks before her due date. I'm starting to get a little worried, wondering what I've gotten myself into. With Lennah, I was "bring it on" (labour, that is). Now, I'm not so sure.
Not to worry, a healthy baby is all that matters. We should find out for sure when I see my doctor in another 2 weeks.
Until then, I'll work on some updated belly shots, before I pop!

~ The Beginning of Spring in Takla ~

After a rough start,

And lots of trust.

Lennah went on her first quad ride of 2008. Now that the snow is almost gone and the sun has been shining, Lennah has been enjoying her time outside again.

PS This has to be one of the best shots of Lennah and her Daddy!

PPS Look closely in the background - you can still see some snow. Do I have to remind everyone that it is May!!!

~ Lennah - 18 months ~

Need I say anything more? Our beautiful girl 18 to 20 months and counting. She is so lovable, adorable and precocious. Everyday we love her more and more.
