Lunch with Our Long, Lost Cousin

Cody, Quannah and Rylan

Of course, they ended up playing under the table!

What beautiful smiles!

Lennah getting some attention, or a new hairstyle. I'm not totally sure.

I am so happy to say, that we finally got together with our cousin Cody and her two beautiful children, Rylan and Quannah. We hadn't seen Cody since we were all teenagers (I won't specify just how long ago that was!). We met for lunch to catch up and for the kids to meet each other.

We had a fantastic time and cannot wait until we get a chance to catch up with the rest of the family.

Girls Night Out/Sleepover

Dinner with the girls: Cynthia, Sheri, Me, Shelley and Nancy

Eric and Lennah having their first bath together, the following morning.

Little Lennah and her cousin Eric had a sleepover Saturday night for the first time. Mommies Michelle and Sheri had a reunion dinner with some friends from high school and Grandma Nelson babysat both of them!

Takla Landing

Nathan didn't tell me we were moving to the "Land of the Midnight Sun"! These "twilight" shots were taken just before 23:00 hours tonight.

Nathan working hard, patrolling at the fishing derby.

Just the boys going 10-8. Trolling, er, patrolling on the lake.

Dinner at Chas and Diane's

Nana and Lennah

Nona and Lennah

Jessica, Nona, Lennah and Daniel

On Friday night Uncle Chas and Aunt Diane hosted a little going away dinner for Uncle Martin and Aunt Mary. We toasted "Here's to family! To family here with us and family that couldn't be". Both Nathan and Julia were sorely missed, and we all look forward to seeing them soon.
