Dominican 2007

Well, we're off. Flew out of VIA late Friday night, May 11th with our good friends and neighbours, Sean and Abby Murphy bound for Punta Cana, Republica Domincana.

That's right, he's a Newfie! And proud of it.

But, wait. Didn't we say the Dominican Republic?! Doh. NOT Israel!

A Tribute

On May 19, 2007, our good friend and my Mom's longtime beau passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer.

We all miss you Jim and will remember you always.

Dad's Birthday

Lennah's first real swing ride. She doesn't look too impressed.

April 30th was my Dad's Birthday - I don't know if I should say which one! (Don't tell, he's 62).

We celebrated by having an early family dinner at my sister's on the 22nd. We had a lovely turkey dinner and Black Forest birthday cake.

We also celebrated cousin Eric's 2nd Birthday a little early. We gave him our gifts because we'll be out of town on his actual birthday.

No, Lennah hasn't actually learned to swim by herself. I'm holding her underwater.

She looks very proud of herself!

On May 2nd, Lennah successfully completed her Splashers swim class. Lennah even received a report card to document it. Nona, Nana and Daddy were all present to witness the event!

Next, we're on to Bubblers.

Accessorizing the Beast

So, we went canopy shopping today. Nathan is looking at an Arrow Mark 111. This one is similar to the one we're looking at but without the bay window at the back. If we buy one, it will have one long, lengthwise window on either side.

Boy, isn't it big, though?

This just in - Lennah's cut her second front tooth. On her Grandpa's Birthday! That officially makes 4 teeth - 2 up and 2 down. My little girl is growing up!
